Taking a look round Chance to set out which job to do first in the high plan

The Chance is still ok after the last couple of Storms that we have hit the UK, just need to build shelter for the winter months.

The port side deck outside the cockpit door is now in need of coming up and the deck beams and beam shelf need replacing just like the starboard side ,however, not as bad as the starboard side which is a complete mess.

This will need investigating once the dec k planking is off.

At least the tie rods are still in place on the port side of the deck, just need to replace the deck beams and beam shelf and refit the tie rods in the new deck beam and beam shelf.

It is a bit of a mess, but it will be okay once the area is dries out and the is exposed .

This starboard beam shelf will have to come out and a complete beam shelf made and refitted to return the strength to this side of the hull.

The beam shelf as been messed about with and the aft section not connected to the rest in a correct method of connecting the two halves together.Just butt jointed and not a long scarf joint which is the way it is going back in after this beam shelf is removed .

Got to get the tie rods made up and replaced once the carlin and beam shelf are remade.

Got to get this rudder tube out so that I can get on with renewing the hog that is rotten ahead of this position.

The port side final frame is still in position and keeping the port side shape in the correct position just got to make up the starboard side mirror frame and move the starboard side to fit the shape of the portside frame and then I will be able to start refitting the transom and its frame work back in the correct position once more

The starboard side here I come and make you whole again
